  • culture programmes,
  • HRD including talent management,
  • performance management,
  • organisational development,
  • HR in leadership roles, HR for HR,
  • Individual paths such as coaching and potential- and talent definition and management

Carolien has the ability to focus on organisational strategy beyond HR to really embed people in the organisation.

To support her HR work Carolien trained as a certified (NMI) mediator. Carolien is also a certified coach (with distinction) and alumnus of the Henley Business School (Reading University). Carolien is an EMCC Accredited Coach at Senior Practitioner level. She has been combining her conflict resolution and coaching skills with her HR experience in international environments.  She is an expert in labour disputes, workplace and career mediations and coaching. Her work focuses on coaching and mediation at Board and Executive level.   Her coaching and mediation work are her energisers as they seamlessly work with her HR background.

Key mediation areas:

  • Labour disputes
  • Board and executive differences
  • Disagreements in international environments, especially when diversity or cultural differences play a role

As a coach Carolien coaches, inspires and encourages young, mid-career and senior professionals. She motivates people to boost their thinking, let ideas in, opinions out and invite views to be changed.

Carolien works with doubters, achievers, busy bees and future fearers to let their ideas flow, challenge beliefs and dare to think the (so far) unthinkable and do the un-doable.

Key principles of coaching:

  • She works from a principle of solution-based coaching
  •  looking at the individual needs
  • focus on what works that can help what doesn’t work that well, looking ahead and strengthening self-belief

The client provides the agenda and the coach provides the process for a set of focused conversations with a mix of tools and techniques matching the coaching needs of the client.
